Forensic Nursing: The Body as a Crime Scene In-Person
with Board Certified Advanced Forensic Nurse Jacqlynn Asherman
Course Highlights:
• The scope of forensic nursing
• Principles of trauma-informed interactions
• Identifying physical findings and psychosocial impact of sexual assault, domestic violence, strangulation, and other violent situations
• Connect physical findings to weapons
• Review evidence collection guidelines and exam findings after sexual assault
• Practice photo-documentation of assault injuries
Food will be provided by Leavenworth Police Department and Keleher Learning Commons.
There are 3 different sessions available for this training, PLEASE CHOOSE ONLY ONE TO ATTEND.
